Research and Methodology
ICRJ – The International CLIL Research Journal is the only current dedicated CLIL peer-reviewed academic journal
STEP – The Scoiety for Testing English Proficiency, main sponsor of the CLILJapan. Information available in Japanese and English. STEP produce the Eiken test which is used nationally to test high school students proficiency in English.
Council of Europe – The European Commission for Languages is actively promoting CLIL accross Europe and provides a host of information and services as well as funding opportunities.
British Council, Japan – Promoting British culture and teaching English Language. The British Council often runs workshops related to CLIL practices.
Sophia University, Tokyo Japan – The research based for CLILJapan and where most of the practitioners are based.
uniliterate.com – A consultancy for language learning based in Japan. Uniliterate.com founder, Richard Pinner, is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the CLILJapan website.
Japan Government MEXT – the site for the Ministry of Educations, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan. Information is available in English and Japanese.
Cambridge ESOL Teacher Knowledge Test – The Cambridge TKT has a section on CLIL and explanations in Japanese.
